We had our first Fellowship and Thanksgiving last Sunday, February 3^rd at the Purple Room in Church. After all that we went through for the past couple of weeks with Arcelie’s tragic death, believe it or not, we still have lots and lots to be thankful to the Lord for. 

As usual, food was overflowing with our usual favorite ulam and some yummy new recipes! And lots of attendees, too! We were quite surprised at how our numbers keep growing. We may need a bigger room for our next fellowship! We were pleased to welcome in our group 4 newcomers: Maricar, Jane, Cristina, and Bernice.

We were blessed with the presence of our Pastors, Pastor Len and his wife Ingrid, Pastor and Mrs. Fenn, Peter and Anne Joziasse (Cell Group Leaders), and Jessie Williams. They all expressed their appreciation to us and Pastor Len said that what we are doing in the Church can serve as a model for other nations, as we have about 49 countries represented in church. Wally in turn thanked our Pastors for all the support they extended to us, as a group and to the entire Filipino community, during our time of deep sorrow in the wake of Arcelie’s death. It was a tremendous blessing to have all these anointed men and women of God join us for our fellowship.

 As I mentioned during the fellowship, we will be launching our website. There were some suggestions given as to the website name, namely: www.pinoypotluckforjesus.com, www.pinoypotblessforjesus.com, www.pinoysforjesus.com, www.pinoybiblereaders.com, www.conquerorsforjesus.com (already taken as a domain name), www.joshua169.com, http://www.psalm2004.com/ .After searching our hearts for a domain name that will best represent us, the unanimous choice was psalm2004!!! Other projects that we will be working on in the near future are our “Slumbook” and a scrapbook for Arcelie! We are also excited to have speakers/ Bible Study leaders from our church and from other churches who will be joining us and sharing God’s word all throughout the year!
