Prayer Request from Nancy

Subject: Please pray for my friend Wendy
Hi, Ladies,
I just found out tonight (thanks to facebook) that my good friend Wendy, who moved to Calgary with me back in 1993 and since moved back up north) had a heart attack at the beginning of January. She was in hospital for almost a month. Wendy is a born again Christian with a great love for Jesus, but she does not attend church. She’s taking it all in stride, but said she’s got quite the therapy program to go through, let alone life changes she will need to make. The biggest hurdle will be quitting smoking. She’s so funny - said she was thinking she should quit in the days leading up to the attack, and then said maybe the heart attack was God was just giving her confirmation that yea, she should quit… lol…Her coordinates: Wendy Utley-Murray, Onoway, AB I had lost contact with Wendy for about 3 years or more - long story, but just last year I managed to track her down. Could be God’s perfect timing, as now I can pray for her recovery and pass the word around for a prayer covering. Thanks you, Jesus!
Please pray for healing, that the Lord will use this time of recovery to speak clearly to Wendy’s spirit, that He will help her quit smoking and set her free from that addiction without any further complications, and that His Spirit will guide her in knowing when to rest. In fact, may she find rest for her soul in this time, and the peace that passes all understanding. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
