Showers of Blessings

We would like to thank everyone who celebrated with us during the bridal shower for our sisters in Christ, Liza Subac and Clena Azul. Despite the fact that it was quite a last minute arrangement and the weather was not that good, with a cold winter blast in spring, we had tons of fun, tons of food, and tons of blessings for the brides to be.
All the ladies present shared their words of wisdom and messages of encouragement to Liza and Clena. We had some ladies from the Choir who joined us, too. The ladies who are planning to get married soon (guess who? I can tell you if you “bribe” me!), those who are not planning to get married yet, and those who are already married were equally blessed to hear and listen from each other as we shared our hearts with honesty, openness and from our own life experiences with Liza and Clena!
We appreciate everyone who took the time and effort to bring a gift for our brides to be. Even those who could not make it that day made sure they had something to give to these 2 lovely ladies. We were all excited as they opened their presents and showed these to us. You have to ask Liza what are some of the “interesting” gifts that she got! It’s too “naughty” to mention!!! :):):)
It is our prayer that the Lord will bless the union between Liza and her Romeo, and Clena and her husband and that the Lord Jesus Christ will be at the center of their marriage. We pray for their safe trip to the Philippines and their return to Calgary. Congratulations, best wishes and God bless, Liza and Clena!!
