Praise the Lord that in His great wisdom, He has led us to the land of opportunity- Canada, which we now call HOME. Praise God for the great health care system, the good education that it provides to our children, the mutlicultural and multi-ethnic fabric of the nation that accepts us for who we are and respects our national identities.

We are indeed fortunate that we live in the land of the free, overflowing with milk and honey, not unlike the Bible’s promised land. As the words of the Canadian national anthem say : “God keep our land glorious and free!”

As we celebrate Canada Day, let us take a moment to thank God for leading us to this country and for the many and overflowing blessings that we continue to receive as a result of this. Let us also pray for the leaders of this nation, that they make continue to uphold what is good and what is right, not only in the eyes of the people, but in what is good and what is right in the sight of God.
