Hope that your summer was amazing! We have just finished off our Street Invaders programs for 2010, and once again, God was very present. Our Saskatchewan program was the largest in history this summer! We have seen salvations, healings, people brought back to walk with Jesus afresh, and significant times of His manifest presence in our meetings. Wow, if I could only take all of you that pray for us to experience a few days of SI, it would be great! Here are our requests for today:

• we have been praying for the Lord to meet our financial needs. Just this week, He has blessed us with a matching donation opportunity: a businessman has offered a donation of $12,500.00 if we are able to match that amount with other donations. Please pray that the Lord will move on peoples hearts to see this amount raised.
• pray for wisdom from above for us as we walk through this next year, as it will be full of opportunities, decisions, need for direction and an obvious sense of His presence

I hope your summer is going well and that you have taken some time to enjoy some of the best of the Lord’s creation. Thanks for praying even during the summer, as this is one of our busiest times.
Our prayer requests for this email are simply this:
Pray that the Lord would continue to touch the lives of young people through Street Invaders this summer. Pray that:
• people would become Christians
• Christians would become deeper disciples
• the power of Christ would be evident in signs and wonders through our students
• that there would be deep, lasting, evident change in the lives of our students
2. Pray that the Lord would continue to meet our financial needs as an organization, that He would draw people to partner with us financially and in prayer.

I was reading the story of Abraham and Isaac today when they went to the mountain to sacrifice. It struck me that this must have been a horrendous journey for Abraham. Think about it: the same God that had promised Abraham a son, was asking him to give the son back! All I can think of is how I would have responded in this situation, and I can’t say that I would have had the faith of Abraham to believe God that it would all work out.
But it did! The story ends with the angel of the Lord telling Abraham not to sacrifice Isaac, the provision of a ram in the bush as a replacement and Abraham naming the place ‘Jehovah-Jireh’, which means ‘the Lord will see’ or ‘the Lord will provide’. (Genesis 22:1 – 14)
This is the same God that you and I serve. The same promises recorded in the scriptures can be applied to any situation we find ourselves in. It’s on this basis that I invite you to pray with us to Jehovah-Jireh that He would meet our needs.

Here’s a promise that we need to rely on every day: ‘Those who trust in the Lord are as secure as Mount Zion; they will not be defeated but will endure forever. Just as the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds his people, both now and forever’.

What would it be like to serve a God who couldn’t be trusted to keep His Word? To not show up when He is needed? To not care about our lives, even the smallest parts of our lives? That’s not our Father, that’s not how He operates. He looks out for His children because He loves us completely, all the time, period! His love for you and I is not based on our behavior or our accomplishments, it’s based on the shed blood of His Son Jesus. That will never change! Our prayer is that you would trust this God with your life. Without Him, we can do nothing.

There is no one as faithful as the Lord. Even in the times when it seems like we can’t see His face, hear His voice, sense His presence, the scriptures tell us that He is still there, still faithful, having never left us. Wow. Who else can we say that about? Jesus said, ‘Remember: I am with you always, to the end of the age.’ That is what we hold on to, I trust that it will be a great reminder to you as well. Please pray for EL NINO problem in the Philippines.
There has been drought all over the country. Crops are dying, animals, and fishes in ponds, lakes and rivers are also dying. Some of the provinces are already in a state of calamity. Even the sources of drinking water are now in danger.
Let us pray that God will provide them the rain they needed to overcome this problem. Also pray for the people that they will be able to handle the heat, endure the pain and anxiety, be safe and healthy and have strength and the faith to call on God and hold on to His promises.
Let us also pray for other countries who are also experiencing earthquakes, tsunamis, famine and chaos. Our Christian brothers and sisters who are being persecuted. |

Thanks so much for faithfully praying for us here at AYMI. We know now, more than ever before, how much we rely on you to take our needs to the Lord. I can tell you from the scriptures that the Lord very graciously answers each of your prayers, but I can tell you from recent experience that I am literally amazed at what Jesus has been doing! 1. AYMI
• Young Leaders Conference is happening this weekend. Pray for safety for those driving here, as well as a strong anointing to break bondages, to set people free, and to set many young leaders up for promotion in the work of the Kingdom.
• Continue to pray that we hit the 1,000 mark for our email prayer warriors. We have a chance to do that this weekend.
• God has been answering our prayers for our funding, pray that this favor continues and grows over the next few months.

Hello,
Thank you so much for all your prayers for my sister, Miriam, and her family.
Thank you also for some financial help extended to her.
The surgery on removal of around 8 inches of her intestines with tumor went alright.
She is now recuperating and will be going back to the hospital in February for CT scan of her liver, where
the doctors felt another tumor.
May we request for your continuous prayer for her healing, her husband's (Julius) strength - physical, emotional and
spiritual and also their daughter's (Mica) faith during this time.

All of our teams are on the road now. Pray that each of the teams will continue to be safe, encouraged, and anointed to preach the gospel.
Pray for support and protection of the England branch of the program, as they work with students in the school system and take teams of young people into Gambia.
Street Invaders
We are in the process of setting up missions and leadership for this year. Pray for discernment and favor for the right leaders and for the mission locations that we will see people get saved.
Plans are in the works for the 2011 program; please pray that each step is directed and ordered by the Lord, and covered in His favor.

Hello,
An update on my sister, Miriam:
Instead of CT Scan , she will undergo an ultrasound to check her liver.
The operation (to cut the intestine with the tumor) was moved to Monday, Dec 21, 2009.
Please continue to pray for these procedures, the doctors/surgeons, Miriam, her
husband Julius and their daughter, Micah.
Please also pray for my other sister , Minerva, and her husband, Gerry. They are
the ones assisting and watching over Miriam in the hospital.

I just would like to update you on Ricky's back pain. Praise the Lord that he was able to have his MRI test last Tuesday. I know how hard it is to have your MRI schedule but the Lord provided a way. This afternoon he got the result and no major things to worry about. The doctor just told him to have physiotherapy on a regular basis. He needs to stay home for another week and see if the physio works.

Thank you so much for all your prayers.
Just spoke with my sister (in the Phils) , Miriam, this morning.
Julius is out of the hospital (he was there since Monday, Sept 21 - pneumonia)
This is the second time he was hospitalized because of pneumonia this year.
The first one was in June .(where he stayed for 5 days in hospital)
My sister said that this time, it had really affected the heart.
Julius has decided to go through the heart operation/surgery.
He has to be strong, though, before this happens.
He is now recuperating; doctors advised rest; taking medications etc.
We would like to request again for your prayers for :
Julius' physical strength
Julius' faith
Miriam's and Micah's emotional and physical stability, wisdom, comfort, calmness, peace, faith
Please pray also for the financial part as this operation, as we may all know, commands a big sum of money.

Please pray for my brother in law, Julius Caoile, husband of my sister Miriam in the Philippines.
He is right now in the hospital.
He has an enlarged heart for so many years and doctors have advised for an operation.
This condition has resulted also in some of his sicknesses.
Please pray also for my sister, Miriam , their daughter Micah , for strength , comfort, calmness, peace.
Please pray also for the financial aspect of the situation. (This was not the first time that he was hospitalized.)

Praise God for Raina just gave birth to a 9.6 lbs baby boy, at 8:09 yesterday morning. His name is Lokule Adriel Arellano Nichola. Both of them are at home already and doing good.
Please continue to pray for Raina and especially the baby's health. The baby was too big and had to be suctioned and in the process his both arms have to be pulled and apparently the right arm got broken. The baby will still have to go back on Tuesday to the hospital for further treatment.

NEWS UPDATE
As of now, Tita Jane is still in the hospital, under observation and waiting for the results of the other medical examinations administered on her. But so far, her CT Scan is okay. No damage done. Probably by tomorrow, she will be discharged.

We have been praising God for a month now for giving my sister Jane a new job after more than 8 months of getting laid off.
But today we are requesting for your prayers again as my sister had an accident this morning when 2 people riding a motorcycle try to grab her handbag. She was dragged a few feet, rolled 3 times, badly bruised and and a big lump on her head that hit the pavement. She was taken to the hospital, examined and her bruises were cleaned. She is now in my other sister's house under observation for 24 hours because of the head concussion.
Please pray for her early recovery and that no complications will happen because of the head concussion. And that she will not be traumatized with what happened and for God's protection in the future. |

Hello,
My husband has undergone medical examination after coming to calgary which should be cleared for us to get workpermit extension to stay here in calgary for long time.We got a call from Alberta health care saying that everything is normal and that he doesn't have any health issues.
I thank God and give thousands of praises to Him and would like to thank everyone who are praying for us especially to Tess Rupprecht who knows our situation and is praying since we were in India .God Bless you.

- Esther's family (husband & 2 kids)safely arrived in Calgary from the Philippines.
- Praise God for His presence and guidance for Daniel(Julie Basco's brother) and his wife Grace, and their kids Xerces and Xyrus, safe move to Calgary from Toronto. We pray that the Lord will continue to guide them as they settle into their new environment and that Daniel & Grace can find a job soon.
- Healing for Doreen's nerve injury in her face. The pain she's been experiencing for the past 13 years years is 80% gone! We trust the Lord for her full healing that she will be delivered from the pain she has been going through all these years. |

Please for the father of Tonette Gonzales who is in the Philippines for complete healing. He just got out from the hospital after having difficulty breathing. He was given maintenance medication.
Pray for his son Daniel who is also in the Philippines and was also rushed to the hospital for pulmonary illness. He is now under observation and will be undergoing x-ray and check-up as soon as he gets better. Daniel has a kidney problem too that is why he is in and out of the hospital every now and then.
Let us pray for Tonette's health and other needs. Especially for the strength to bear this situation wherein she can not be by her father and son's side in this difficult times as she lives and work away from them.
Let us also pray for her family back home for continuing strength, patience and love while looking after Daniel. |

Dear Family,
Thank you for your prayer vigil on Brother Doug Baker's behalf! I just spoke with Dawn and she said Doug was released from the hospital last night, even though the infection has not yet abated. She said he was so happy to sleep in his own bed last night and that he is in good spirits.
Brother Doug will see a specialist tomorrow and will return to the hospital on Thursday for surgery to address the infection that has spread to his sinus area. Thank you for your continued, targeted prayers for Doug and his family. I will continue to update you on his progress as I hear ....

Lord, we ask You to surround Doug with Your Presence right now as he lays in that hospital bed. We ask for a legion of angels to protect him with their swords drawn. Lord, in Your Name we cast out every bit of infection, halting it's further and lingering advance. Cleanse him Lord from every foreign body that would do him harm. Strengthen his immune system to ward off everything that hinders, both of what we know and that of which we do not. Wash over him Holy Spirit, filling Him with living, cleansing water, strengthening, refreshing Water. Lord, we ask for a miracle. We ask for astonishing results. We ask for complete recovery and clear reports. We ask that every doctor and health specialist You send Doug's way be Your appointed emissary to do Your will, block all others. Dawn says that Doug will be on continuous intervenious anti-biotics for the next six weeks. She says that at this point they don't know when he will be released from the hospital - perhaps after he is given clearance from all the specialists. Dawn reported that Doug will be undergoing surgery again to repair the skull removal - after all the infection is cleared. Dawn and Pastor Fenn have given me permission to contact you and ask you to pray fervently on Brother Doug's behalf. For we know, O God, that You can do all things, nothing is impossible with You!

Dear Family,
Our Brother Doug Baker entered the hospital late last week, needing emergency surgery to remove infection that has set in since his last surgery. Unfortunately, the infection had gone into the bone and the surgeons had to remove part of his skull. There continues to be infection around his brain and he is scheduled to see some specialists, among them a throat, nose, sinus specialist for the discomfort he is experiencing in that area.

Pls pray for Manang Bing (Pinay, 61 yrs old). Her cancer came back and she's in the Sarcee Carewest hospice. She accepted the Lord Jan 6 but is surrounded by a very devout Catholic friend who brings in priests to visit her. She has 2 rosaries and a prayer book (to saints, etc.). She likes the Bible so I brought her a NKJV (she had an old KJV).
Pls pray that she won't get confused by teachings surrounding her that contradict what the Lord says in His Word. She listens to me but I think it would be good to hear also from others. Tnx and God bless always!

Hey everyone, need prayer. Three weeks ago Sunday when coming home from Church, I fell 4 times, thinking I was ok as I got up and moved on, the next day I had alot of pain in my neck, shoulder and back. I didn't clue in at the time that the pain I was expierening was due to the fall, once I realized what was causing the pain I went to the clinic to get it checked out, the doctor gave me a perscription for it. Can you keep me in prayer, I'm in alot of pain even with the meds, will keep you up to date how I'm doing,

| Just to update everybody, Carl's mom Betty Hurst had her first chemo treatment last December 12 and the second one will be this coming Friday, January 02. She is doing good except that she lost her hair this weekend and Carl had to shved it off for her. We have some pictures of it but I don't know how to send it to your website, Wally let me know so I can share it here. Two weeks ago, she had some back pains and can hardly breath so she was brought to the ER and the doctor thinks that it was her kidney stone, she is diabetic as well. She is okay now, hopefully that this was not a complication from her chemo treatment. Please continue praying for her that the tumor will shrink down so she can have the surgery hopefully next year, sometime in March? |

Just a couple of prayer requests:
- First, let's pray for the Lord's hand of protection & travelling mercies for people travelling outside Calgary. Rhose is leaving (or may have left) for the Philippines and will be back on the 14th of January. Noemi, Joey and Megan are heading to San Francisco (USA) this Friday and will be back before the New Year.
- Second prayer request is for Murray. We have prayed for him before and his last CT scan shows that there are 3 problematic spots which the Doctor has seen. He will go for another CT scan in January to see how these "problem areas" are. In the meantime, let us pray that the Lord will touch the area of his body which are not well. As the Lord has been with him through his difficult operation, we trust and claim the mighty power of our God who heals not only the soul but even the physical body!
