Prayer Requests & Thanksgiving, October 17th, 2008

- For Tess Rupprecht’s mother-in-law/ Dave Rupprecht’s mom Erna Rupprecht to be pain-free and comfortable as she enters the final chapter of life.
- Sahlee Canilao, a young dear friend of Tess in the Philippines is diagnosed with 4th stage intestinal cancer and is now undergoing treatment. Pray for her complete healing and recovery.
- Complete healing and fast recovery for Perry Alburo ( husband of Tess’ best friend Irma) who just underwent an open heart surgery in Los Angeles.
- Above all, please pray that Erna,Perry and Sahlee will experience God’s joy, love and sovereignty even in this most difficult, challenging times.
- For Raina that the processing of her application as landed immigrant and for the processing of her 2 sons’ application to join her here in
Canada will proceed smoothly and that there will be no major obstacles. Pray also that the Lord will grant her peace of mind and comfort for the challenges she’s facing right now with regards to one of her children. May the Lord direct their path to His perfect will for their family and loved ones and may they be obedient to His will for them. - Pray for Rick White, that the Lord Almighty will open doors for him for a full time ministry and that the Lord will provide him financial assistance necessary for him to go to full time seminary.
Praises & Thanksgiving:
- Judith Piok’s mother who is doing well with her breast cancer treatment but let us still continue to pray for her complete healing. Praise God that the members of her household, including her mother, has come to know the Lord in a personal way.
- Suzie Tizon’s thyroid laboratory tests showed negative results but let us still continue to pray for her complete healing for her throat cancer.
- Sally de Castro’s recognition as Best Customer Service Staff at Sunlife of Canada.
- After so many months of waiting, Julie Basco’s workers from the Philippines are now approved to come to Canada.
- Doreen’s clean bill of health from her doctors. She was diagnosed with breast cancer last year and underwent treatment and is now cancer-free! Praise the Lord!
